Step 1: Design & Planning
You can bring in your own plan and ideas if you already have them. We are happy to work with any plans you already have designed or purchased. If you do not already have plans, we can refer you to our preferred architect / draftsman and they can help you bring your ideas and wants to life. They will work with you until you are happy with the plan you have helped create.
Step 2: Initial Consultation / Site Evaluation
This is where we get to know one another. Once you have a completed plan and design, we will meet onsite at your property and get a feel of your wants and needs for your new home/project. We will also evaluate the build site and get an idea of site prep costs that will need to go into your estimate.
Step 3: Estimate
Once your plan is final, we will provide you with a preliminary estimate based on your wants and the plan that you have given us. Once, we have an approved proposal an number to work with, we will move to our contract process.
Step 4: Contract
Our team will provide you with an itemized fixed-price total to build your home. We will walk you through the formal contract and if financing your new home, we will work with your lender to complete you interim construction loan closing.
Step 5: Construction
This is where the fun begins! We will keep you in the loop of the progress throughout construction via our Buildertrend online portal. You will be able to view the schedule as well as make selections through Buildertrend as the deadlines come up. Your portal is accessible online through our website and through our mobile smart phone App so you will always have access to what is going on as we bring your vision to life!
Step 6: Home Completion
After conducting a final walk-though and approval of the home with our team, we have the honor of presenting you with your new Texas Best Construction home. Welcome Home!
